It all started with one
Calf—and a promise

Our miniature cow journey began with love, grew through resilience, and now connects families to companions they never imagined.

Our Story

It started with a promise

Hairy was our first calf. Born too early, too small, and too quiet.

The vet said not to get attached—that he might not make it through the night. But how could we not? His eyes followed us, even when his legs wouldn’t. So we ignored the advice and leaned in instead.

We bottle-fed him every three hours, even at midnight. We wrapped him in old quilts and warmed milk on the stove. On stormy nights, we slept beside him in the barn—reading children’s books aloud because our voices calmed his shivering.

And somehow, Hairy survived.

Not just survived—he thrived. He followed us around like a dog. He nudged our hands when he wanted company. He would stand still for minutes, just to be brushed. He made us laugh when nothing else could.

Hairy wasn’t livestock.

He was family.

hat winter changed something in us. We realized miniature cows aren’t just cute—they’re profoundly emotional beings. They bond, they listen, they comfort. They remind us to slow down, to nurture, to be present. We started raising more—one calf at a time—with the same gentleness, the same hands-on care, the same promise we made to Hairy: “No matter what, you won’t be alone.”

Today, we help families across the country discover what we did that winter: That joy has four legs. That healing sometimes moos. And that connection doesn’t always bark—it sometimes bellows. We don’t mass breed. We don’t treat calves like commodities. Every mini we raise is known by name, taught by hand, and placed into homes where they’ll be loved for life. Because around here, a cow isn’t just a cow. It’s someone.

Our Mission

We raise Minis that are meant to
be held, hugged, and loved

This isn’t a side hustle. It’s our life.

  • Every calf is halter-trained and socialized.

  • Every home is vetted for fit and readiness.

  • Every family becomes part of ours.

“We’re not just in the cow business. We’re in the connection business.”
